I would have posted an update sooner, but I've been working on so many different things lately its hard to find enough time in the day to collect your thoughts.
I've been working with some affiliate marketing companies and I'm having moderate success, but as things progress and I learn, I'm sure it will get easier....My goal is eventually to be doing little work for a steady (although probably small) stream of income every month. The key word is "automation" I have to figure out how to automate the process a bit more to make it easier.
BUT....
The big thing I've been working is an ebook that I am going to sell. I've been working hard day and night on writing this ebook about a little known marketing technique that works GREAT! I can get my ads in front of 10K+ people everyday for about a buck a week!
I am done with the first final draft and its ready to go. I just have to get a site built to sell the book and buy the domain for it.
I'll post a link to it once I have it done...I'm shooting to have it up and running before Christmas....hopefully WAY before, like next week....but we'll see how things go.
my next challange is going to be "getting the word out" to the right audience....
Until next time.... I'd like to hear what you think of my blog......
Feel free to leave a comment.

Its been a while...
It's been a while since my last post, and things have been busy, so I figured it was time for another entry.
I've been trying work from home strategies like crazy with no success. I read an article about making money putting adsense code on your page, but the problem is driving enough traffic to the sites to convert enough clickthroughs....especially on my advertising budget of $0. I've come to the conclusion that I just have to keep looking. Not everything is a scam (though lots of things are) and I just need to find what will work for me. Unfortunately it i taking a while, but I may just have to think out side the box a bit more.
On the financial side things are still tough, but better then when I started this blog. The lovely wife is getting better and being aware of the budget we have, and a little help here and there from the in laws doesn't hurt either!
I hate the stress of worrying over finances, but as long as my daughter (who will be two years old in about a week!) doesn't know things are tight...its OK. That's the most important thing to me right now.

For those who are NOT independantly Wealthy...
Hi. My name is Marc and if you are anything like me, you're just trying to make ends meet. I'm married with a beautiful 21 month old daughter. I'm happily married, but having said that, financial issues tend to be a tough issue in any relationship. From what I've seen and my own experience, it seems that most of the time, One person is the "financially aware" person and the other is the "financially unconcerned" one. I'm trying to use politically correct terms as to not use words like "cheapskate" or "gold digger" LOL.
Anyways, In my situation I'm the frugal one and my wife is the less spend thrift one. Just to clarify, She doesn't spend erratically and I don't deprive my family of anything in the name of saving a buck. Still its a constant struggle. She doesn't care that the money coming in every month is much less then the money going out, she just cares that there are necessities that we need regardless. I am on the other side of the coin, where I know we need certain things but fitting everything in to the budget is nerve racking!
Now, the first logical step in my option is to try and reduce your bills. That proved to be impossible. Debt consolidation companies are a good route if you have a lot of credit card debt, but we don't have any debt except a car loan. All our other bills are pretty well set. The only "flexible" part of our budget is food and gas. Well, we know how gas prices are, so that was out, and with a child just starting to eat "real food" we still need some formula and baby food, which if you have children, you know are expensive.
Obviously, the only answer is to increase the money coming in.
So...In an attempt to solve this quandary, I decided that if I wanted spend any time with my daughter, the only answer is working online.
In essence, this is what my blog is about. I want to share some of my budgeting techniques as well as use this blog as a journal of my search for a stable supplementary income online. I hope what I post here will be of some help to you and If you have any tips for me and other readers, feel free to share. I also invite you to post your questions and comments.
My first "tip" for budgeting is to have an actual budget that you fill in for every month to keep track of what you are spending. I do mine with an excel spread sheet and include a column for my projected income and spending. That way you can see from month to month how much more or less you and spending then what you figure your average monthly expenses are. I will soon post the spread sheet so you may use mine if you wish. I'll you have to do is fill in your numbers. All the equations are in there already.
Sorry to have such a long first post, but I wanted to establish my goals for this blog and let you know a little about me.
Well, Welcome to my Blog, I hope you find it useful.
